INSTALL COSA COMMAND LINE BUILD
===============================
1. Install gcc-avr with avr-libc and avrdude with Ubuntu Software
Center or apt-get. Or install Arduino IDE and Tools.
sudo apt-get install gcc-avr binutils-avr gdb-avr avr-libc avrdude
2. Set environment variable COSA_DIR to the Cosa install directory.
COSA_DIR=$HOME/opt/Cosa ; export COSA_DIR
3. Set environment variable GCC_AVR_VER to gcc-4.9.2 (for GCC AVR only)
GCC_AVR_VER=gcc-avr-4.9.2 ; export GCC_AVR_VER
4. Add COSA_DIR/build to PATH or add a symbolic link in local bin to
COSA_DIR/bin/cosa.
ln -s $COSA_DIR/build/cosa $HOME/bin/cosa
5. Copy boards definitions to build directory.
cd $COSA_DIR
cp boards.txt build
6. Verify install.
cd $COSA_DIR/build
cosa uno
7. Run command line build with board; compile, link, upload and start monitor.
cd $COSA_DIR/example/Benchmarks/CosaBenchmarksPins
cosa uno avanti
INSTALL COSA CUSTOM BOARDS
==========================
1. Download custom board support and install in sketchbook hardware
directory. The command line build assumes that they are installed
with 1.0.X directory structure (i.e. without the avr level).
2. Add symbolic link in COSA_DIR/variants to custom board variants.
Example for Cosa-CustomBoard template.
ln -s $SKETCHBOOK/hardware/CustomBoard/variants/VENDOR $COSA_DIR/variants
3. Verify that the custom board is now available. The following
commands will generate and print the list of boards.
cd $COSA_DIR/build
cosa boards
