# Sample Elixir Umbrella Project
In Elixir, an Umbrella project structure allows for splitting out "microservices"
inside the same code base. They are technically microservices in that they aren't
deployed separately, but they are very close in all other regards.
This is project shows how a WBS can be applied to that kind of project.
