# request/remoteAddress

## remoteAddress(req, isBehindProxy?)

Obtain the remote address of the connection.

If application itself is running behind a proxy, where `x-forwarded-for` header
was set, use `isBehindProxy=true`.

Returns either the remote address string or undefined.
