## Workplace Mentor Program
Toyota is committed to supporting dealerships to improve their workplace training and people development capacity. Workplace Mentors are a critical part of the Toyota Network Training approach.
Mentors are responsible for:
* Supporting/mentoring apprentices/trainees through their training.
* Assessing whether apprentices/trainees can competently complete jobs.
The Toyota Workplace Mentor Program has been designed and developed by Toyota to assist Mentors in their role.
## What is the Toyota Workplace Mentor Program?
The Toyota Workplace Mentor Program is a 3 day workshop, aligned to the nationally accredited Workplace Supervisor Skill Set (TAESS00006).
Upon successful completion of the program, Mentors will receive a Statement of Attainment for the following units of competency from their Toyota-approved training provider.
* TAEDEL301A - Provide Work Skill Instruction
* TAEASS301B - Contribute to Assessment
* TAEDEL404A - Mentor in the Workplace
(Note - These units of competency can contribute toward the Certificate IV in Training & Assessment.)
