**What is PARTS21 Certification?**  
PARTS21 Certification is a global initiative by Toyota Motor Corporation to build the Foundation, Professional and Expert skills required by Dealer staff working in the Parts Department.

**Who should complete the PARTS21 Certification process?**  
All staff working in the Parts Department in all roles.

### Do I need to attend the PARTS21 Fundamentals Course - Stage 1 - to begin?
If you have held your role in the Parts Department for over 8 years or your primary position is Parts Manager you have the option of being exempt from the PARTS21 Fundamentals Course and are welcome to enrol directly into the PARTS21 Professional Course. If not you will be required to attend PARTS21 Fundamentals as Stage 1.

###Does my Certification have an expiry date?

*   The PARTS21 Fundamentals and PARTS21 Professional Certifications do not have an expiry date.
*   The PARTS21 Expert Global Certification expires after 3 years when Recertification will be required.

###What do I receive when I become Certified?
After you attend each 2 day course you will receive an Attendance Certificate. After successfully completing the Exams after both the PARTS21 Professional and the PARTS21 Expert Courses you will receive Global Certification and be presented with a Certificate issued by TMC. You will also achieve Excellence Points for your Dealership on completion of the PARTS21 Courses
