Toyota HiAce has received an updated look for 2014 along with additions that expand its safety, comfort and convenience.
_Long Wheel Base Shown_
HiAce has been market leader of the combined van and light bus segments for more than two decades in Australia, with vans outselling buses by more than three-to-one and petrol vans have been at least twice as popular as Diesel.
However, there has been a marked shift towards Diesel in the last few years with customers buying more Diesel HiAce vans over petrol each year since 2010.
## Inside...
The front passenger seat has been updated to a bucket-type seat following consumer demand for a more ‘car-like environment’, with a centre console box separating the two front seats.

Interior Improvements:
* Cruise Control & audio switches on the new four-spoke steering wheel;
* LCD Multi-Information Display showing the time, outside temperature and odometer;
* Shift Position Indicator (auto only) in the instrument cluster;
* Eco Driving Indicator - informing the driver when the accelerator is being operated efficiently.
Safety Improvements:
* Seatbelt warning buzzer (Driver & Front Passenger)
* Seatbelt warning lamp (Front Passenger)
* Reversing Camera with a 3.3” display in the rear-view mirror (all models from May 2012 production).
## ...And Out
Robust Front End Looks:
* Newly designed headlamps;
* Daytime running lamps (DRL);
* Larger radiator grille adopting Toyota's trademark trapezoidal shape;
* Sharp edges on the new front bumper, adding to the visual strength;
* Pulled back corners emphasise the enhanced, stronger front design.

## Always Listening
Customer preference for darker colours has resulted in the addition of a new exterior colour named Scarlet (long-wheelbase models only).
