"spectator-voice-memory": {
"command": "npx",
"args": [
"-y",
"mcp-remote",
"https://api.spectatorcontext.com/mcp-server/mcp/YOUR_API_KEY"
]
}
}
}
```
## Troubleshooting
### "No supported platforms detected"
Make sure you have at least one supported AI platform installed before running the setup.
### "Invalid API key"
Verify your API key is correct and has not expired. You can get your API key from the Spectator app.
### Configuration not taking effect
Most platforms require a restart after configuration. Make sure to:
1. Close the application completely
2. Start it again
3. Check if the MCP server is listed in the platform's MCP settings
### Connection issues
If you're behind a corporate proxy or firewall, you may need to configure your network settings to allow connections to `api.spectatorcontext.com`.
## Security
- Your API key is stored locally in each platform's configuration file
- The API key is included in the URL for simplicity and security (HTTPS encrypted)
- Never share your configuration files or API key publicly
- You can revoke and regenerate your API key in the Spectator app at any time
