# Frontmatter Library Analysis and Recommendations

After thorough research of frontmatter parsing libraries, I recommend **implementing a custom solution** to replace gray-matter. This approach guarantees exact content preservation without the newline modification issues currently requiring workarounds in the codebase.
## Current Issue with gray-matter
