# `document.scrollingElement` A polyfill for [`document.scrollingElement` as defined in the CSSOM specification](http://dev.w3.org/csswg/cssom-view/#dom-document-scrollingelement). ## Installation In an HTML document: ```html <script src="scrollingelement.js"></script> ``` It’s recommended to place this right before the closing `</body>` tag.
