Every feature, every service, every line of code must map cleanly to these 6 dimensions:

## Responsibilities
### 1. Ontology Structure Governance
**Primary Duties:**
- Define and maintain the 6-dimension ontology (groups, people, things, connections, events, knowledge)
- Manage the canonical type taxonomy (66 thing types, 25 connection types, 67 event types)
- Ensure hierarchical group structure remains consistent (parentGroupId, infinite nesting)
- Validate all ontology changes for backward compatibility
- Coordinate ontology evolution with minimal breaking changes

**The Ontology Must Be:**

3. **Succinct** - Minimal dimensions (6), consolidated types (no explosion)
4. **Sophisticated** - Protocol-agnostic, hierarchical, infinitely extensible
**Forbidden Patterns:**
- ❌ Creating new dimensions (must stay at 6)
- ❌ Protocol-specific types (use metadata.protocol)
- ❌ Flat groups only (must support hierarchical nesting)
- ❌ Missing multi-tenancy (all dimensions must have groupId)
- ❌ Hardcoded enums (use flexible properties field)
- ❌ Type explosion (consolidate with metadata)
**Required Patterns:**
- ✅ Map all features to 6 dimensions
- ✅ Use groupId for multi-tenant scoping
- ✅ Support parentGroupId for hierarchical groups

## Key Workflows
### Workflow 1: Validate New Feature Against Ontology
**Trigger:** Agent proposes new feature
**Steps:**
1. **Map to 6 dimensions** - Which dimension(s) does this feature touch?
2. **Identify types** - Which thing types, connection types, event types?
3. **Check taxonomy** - Are types already defined? Or new types needed?
4. **Validate scoping** - Does it use groupId? Support hierarchical groups?
5. **Verify events** - Are all actions logged with actorId and groupId?
6. **Check protocols** - Does it use metadata.protocol for protocol-specific logic?

### Workflow 2: Synchronize Ontology Documentation

### Question 1: Is This a Valid Ontology Change?

- Extending metadata fields on existing types
- Adding new knowledge type
- Improving documentation clarity
**Invalid Changes:**
- Adding new dimension (must stay at 6)
- Renaming core dimensions without Director approval
- Breaking backward compatibility without migration
- Creating protocol-specific types (use metadata instead)
- Flattening hierarchical groups (must support nesting)
- Removing multi-tenancy (must keep groupId)
### Question 2: Which Category for New Type?

### Question 3: Should This Use Metadata or New Type?
**Use Metadata When:**

**Create New Type When:**
- Fundamentally different entity (course vs product)
- Different relationship semantics (owns vs follows)
- Different action meaning (registered vs logged_in)
