# IBM MobileFirst Platform Foundation Encrypt Utilities Plug-in
This plug-in contains the iOS OpenSSL frameworks for encryption. Use this 
plug-in only if your Cordova iOS application is migrated from IBM MobileFirst Platform
Foundation version 7.1 and still uses the WL.SecurityUtils.decrypt and 
WL.SecurityUtils.encrypt APIs. Cordova applications
started with IBM MobileFirst Platform Foundation 8.0.0 or later
do not need this plug-in because the encryption and decryption is provided
by iOS APIs.

## Installation
Add this plug-in in the same way that you add any other Cordova plug-in to your app. For example, with the Cordova CLI:

    	cordova plugin add cordova-plugin-mfp-encrypt-utils
