since 1997, and he has touched on several critical areas of the businesses, including \
Human Resources (recruiting, onboarding, hiring, and separations); Marketing \

marketing language, training of mortgage bankers and involved in required licensing \
processes and compensation modifications); and Technology (online customer facing \
usability, accurate display of required disclosures and information, and the ability to \
leverage technology to create consistent, accurate, scalable business models-- he was \
and integral part of getting Quicken online). \

in an attempt to look older and more distinguished. Prior to growing a beard, Colin worked as a landscaper, \
dishwasher, meat cutter, telemarketer, third-shifter at a convenience store, valet, and waiter. \
After all of that, he worked as Vice President and Associate General Counsel at Flagstar Bank, FSB, \
where he provided legal support to its community banking activities (which included unsecured lending, \
retail operations, and online banking). Prior to Flagstar, he was an attorney with Bodman PLC where \
he advised financial institutions on numerous complex transactions (including creditor rights matters) \
and he did some other legal related stuff that qualified him for his current position. \

Colin received his JD, <i>cum laude</i>, from Michigan State University College of Law. \
He also has a Masters in Banking and Financial Law from Boston University School of \
Law where he was an LL.M. Scholar and he was awarded the A. John Serino Outstanding \
Graduate Banking Law Student Prize (which is a scholarship \"awarded to the student who \
displays outstanding overall performance, in terms of academic achievement and dedication \
to the highest standards of scholarship and service\"). During his time at BU, \
Colin also worked at the Consumer Protection Clinic at the Legal Services Center of \
Harvard Law School and he worked with Professor Tamar Frankel in converting her treatise \
on securitization into a law school text book. Colin also has a Bachelor of Fine Arts \
with an emphasis in watercolor painting (no joke) from Western Michigan University. \
Colin was recently named \"Greatest Attorney in the World\" by his mother, which came as a \
shock to his two brothers and his dad, who are also attorneys.\

in size from small blogs to others for a multi-billion dollar financial institution. He has been blessed with \
a permanent good attitude and the energy of a Jack Russell terrier hopped up on several cans of red bull. \
