# Phi-3 Integration Issues and Improvements Log
## Current Status
- ✅ Fixed infinite spinner loops
- ✅ Fixed retry logic bugs

## Identified Issues
### 1. **Code Generation Issues**
- **Issue**: "write a program to check if a number is prime" initially generated generic template instead of actual prime checking code
- **Root Cause**: Pattern matching order - generic template was catching before specific patterns
- **Status**: ✅ FIXED - Added specific prime pattern matching before generic fallback
### 2. **Run Command Recognition**
- **Issue**: "run program.py" was not recognized, caused 3 retry attempts and failure
- **Root Cause**: Pattern matching didn't include file execution patterns
- **Status**: ✅ FIXED - Added enhanced run command parsing with regex
### 3. **File Execution**
- **Issue**: Run commands were going through runIntent instead of direct execution
- **Root Cause**: executeAction wasn't handling file types properly
- **Status**: ✅ FIXED - Added direct file type detection and execution
