[Moksha](http://www.bodhilinux.com/moksha-desktop/) is a desktop environment created in 2014\. It is a fork of [Enlightenment](/index.php/Enlightenment "Enlightenment") 17 and it is currently used as default desktop environment in Ubuntu-based Bodhi Linux. Its chief advantage over later Enlightenment releases that are available in the extra repository is that it is more stable and has a significantly smaller memory footprint. ## Installation You can install Moksha using the [AUR](/index.php/AUR "AUR") package [moksha](https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/moksha/). ## Other applications For additional functionality, one may wish to install the following: * **moksha-module-deskshow** — Deskshow Moksha module [https://github.com/JeffHoogland/moksha-modules-extra](https://github.com/JeffHoogland/moksha-modules-extra) || [moksha-module-deskshow-git](https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/moksha-module-deskshow-git/) * **moksha-module-emprint** — Emprint Moksha module [https://github.com/JeffHoogland/moksha-modules-extra](https://github.com/JeffHoogland/moksha-modules-extra) || [moksha-module-emprint-git](https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/moksha-module-emprint-git/) * **moksha-modules-extra** — Miscellaneous extra Moksha modules [https://github.com/JeffHoogland/moksha-modules-extra](https://github.com/JeffHoogland/moksha-modules-extra) || [moksha-modules-extra-git](https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/moksha-modules-extra-git/) * **moksha-radiance-theme** — Moksha Radiance from git sources [https://github.com/JeffHoogland/MokshaRadiance](https://github.com/JeffHoogland/MokshaRadiance) || [moksha-radiance-theme-git](https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/moksha-radiance-theme-git/) ## See also * [Official website](http://mokshadesktop.org) * [Source code](https://github.com/JeffHoogland/moksha) * [How to install Moksha on Arch Linux](http://forums.bodhilinux.com/index.php?/topic/13102-how-to-install-moksha-on-arch-linux-and-derivatives/#entry96986) - Forum
