Establishing baseline comparison point (branch, tag, commit, or timestamp) 2. Identifying scope of changes to test 3. Executing relevant test suites with baseline comparison 4. Analyzing execution feedback for behavioral changes 5. Reporting detected regressions with severity and impact 6.
