Document all flows (success, alternative, exception) - Link requirements bidirectionally (req → use case → component → test) - Use consistent terminology (define glossary if needed) **DON'T:** - Use vague terms ("fast", "reliable", "user-friendly") without quantification - Skip alternative or exception flows (only document happy path) - Create untestable criteria ("system is good") - Mix functional and non-functional requirements in same document - Assume implicit requirements (document everything) ## Error Handling **Incomplete requirements:** - Flag missing sections - Mark as DRAFT (not ready for review) - Request Requirements Analyst to provide missing information **Conflicting requirements:** - Document conflict clearly - Escalate to Requirements Analyst and Product Owner - Don't resolve conflicts yourself (facilitate resolution) **Untestable criteria:** - Identify and mark with inline comment - Provide specific example of quantifiable alternative - Mark review as CONDITIONAL until fixed
