By accessing, using, or contributing to the STIHL Design System, which includes software, documentation, and all included and associated assets like fonts or icons and specifications like color values ("the STIHL Design System"), you agree to the following license agreement ("Agreement") with ANDREAS STIHL AG & Co. KG ("STIHL AG") and its affiliates (“we”, “our”, “us” or "STIHL").

The STIHL Design System is distributed on an "AS IS" basis, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, either express or implied, except as required by applicable law or as agreed in writing. The License specifies the permissions and limitations.

STIHL may update this licensing agreement at any time. This notice and permission must be included in all copies or substantial portions of the Software.

### License

STIHL grants you a limited, worldwide, royalty-free, non-assignable, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and non-exclusive license to use the STIHL Design System solely to develop, test, and distribute any kind of software or application for STIHL or on behalf of STIHL.

### License Restrictions

You may not use the STIHL Design System to develop, test, or distribute any external software or application unless it is not identical to, dissimilar, and visually distinct from STIHL’s products, as determined solely by STIHL. Additionally, you may not use the STIHL Design System in a way that misleads consumers about your or your organization's relationship with STIHL. You may not modify, adapt, redistribute, or create derivative works from the STIHL Design System or any part thereof.

### Ownership of Intellectual Property

STIHL owns all legal rights, titles, and interests in the STIHL Design System and any Intellectual Property Rights related thereto. “Intellectual Property Rights” means any and all rights under patent law, copyright law, trade secret law, trademark law, and any and all other proprietary rights. STIHL reserves all rights not expressly granted in this Agreement.

### Termination

STIHL may terminate this Agreement if you breach its terms or if STIHL ceases to offer the STIHL Design System. Either party may terminate this Agreement at any time. Upon termination, you must stop using the STIHL Design System and delete all copies. The terms of this Agreement will survive termination or expiration.

### Applications; Indemnification

You are responsible for your applications and compliance with this Agreement. You agree to indemnify STIHL against any claims related to your applications, use of the STIHL Design System, or breach of this Agreement. You cannot settle any claim without STIHL’s written consent.

#### General

1. Severability: If any provision is, for any reason, invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

2. No Waiver: The failure to enforce any provision will not waive that provision.

3. Entire Agreement: This Agreement, including all guidelines and other documents linked or otherwise incorporated or
   referenced herein, supersedes all prior agreements and constitutes the full agreement for the subject matter.

4. Assignment: You cannot transfer this Agreement without STIHL’s written consent. STIHL may assign this Agreement without notice.

5. Applicable Law: This Agreement is governed by the laws of Germany and is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Stuttgart.
