# str2wellformed

> Create a new well-formed string.

## Usage

```javascript
var str2wellformed = require( '@stdlib/string/to-well-formed' );
```

#### str2wellformed( str )

Creates a new well-formed string by replacing all lone surrogates with the replacement character `\uFFFD`.
