# Specifications

This directory contains specifications for features, APIs, and architecture decisions.

## Spec-Driven Development

Vibes follows a spec-driven development approach:

1. **Create a spec first** - Before implementing any feature, create a specification
2. **Review and approve** - Get the spec reviewed by team members
3. **Generate tests** - Use the spec to create test cases
4. **Implement** - Build the feature based on the approved spec

## Directory Structure

- `features/` - Feature specifications
- `api/` - API endpoint specifications
- `architecture/` - Architecture decision records (ADRs)

## Creating a Spec

Use the vibe CLI to create new specs:

```bash
# Create a feature spec
vibe spec user-authentication

# Create an API spec
vibe spec login-endpoint --type api

# Create an architecture spec
vibe spec database-choice --type architecture
```

## Spec Workflow

1. **Draft** - Initial specification creation
2. **Review** - Under team review
3. **Approved** - Ready for implementation
