# Function dotPow
Calculates the power of x to y element wise.
## Syntax
```js
math.dotPow(x, y)
```
### Parameters
Parameter | Type | Description

`x` | number | BigNumber | Complex | Unit | Array | Matrix | The base
`y` | number | BigNumber | Complex | Unit | Array | Matrix | The exponent
### Returns

## Examples
