# JSON Grid Editor License Agreement

## License Terms for @json-grid/json-grid-editor

**Version 1.0**

This License Agreement (the “Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you (the "Licensee") and **JSON Grid**, the owner of the npm package `@json-grid/json-grid-editor` (the “Software”). By downloading, installing, or otherwise using the Software, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement.

### 1. License Grant
Subject to the terms of this Agreement and the purchase of a valid license key from **JSON Grid** at [https://jsongrid.com](https://jsongrid.com), JSON Grid grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the Software for the following purposes:

- Development and testing of applications.
- Commercial and non-commercial use of the Software within your organization or personal projects.

### 2. License Key Requirement
**A valid and active license key is required to use the Software, regardless of the nature of usage (commercial or non-commercial).** You must purchase a license key from [https://jsongrid.com](https://jsongrid.com) before using the Software. 

- **Free Trials:** If available, free trials may be provided, but any such trial is subject to expiration as specified during the trial offer. Continued use after the trial period requires purchasing a license key.

### 3. Restrictions
Without the prior written consent of JSON Grid, you agree that you will not:

- Use, copy, or distribute the Software without a valid license key.
- Modify, alter, reverse engineer, or create derivative works based on the Software.
- Resell, sublicense, lease, or distribute the Software to any third party.
- Use the Software to build or distribute a product that competes with the Software or JSON Grid’s offerings.

### 4. Termination
Your license to use the Software is conditioned on compliance with the terms of this Agreement and remains in effect unless terminated. JSON Grid reserves the right to terminate your license immediately if:

- You fail to comply with any term or condition of this Agreement.
- You use the Software without purchasing or maintaining a valid license key.

Upon termination, you must immediately cease all use of the Software and destroy all copies of the Software in your possession.

### 5. Updates and Support
Updates and support for the Software are only available to users with a valid license key. JSON Grid reserves the right to modify, discontinue, or alter any features of the Software at any time.

### 6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. YOU ASSUME ALL RISK ASSOCIATED WITH THE USE OF THE SOFTWARE.

### 7. Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL JSON GRID BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE, EVEN IF JSON GRID HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

### 8. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Jurisdiction]. Any disputes arising under or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [Your Jurisdiction].

### 9. Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and JSON Grid concerning the Software and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications, proposals, or agreements, whether oral or written, regarding the Software.
