# Function: actionChain()

> **actionChain**(`options`, `registry`): `Promise`\<`boolean`\>

Overwrites the chain file for the migration versions. Chain file ensures that
the migration versions are appended strictly in the end (so a migration file
appeared in the middle will produce a git merge conflict).
