# ADR-003: Command Bible Implementation Strategy ## Status Accepted ## Context The Gemini Flow v2.0.0 platform needs to implement five critical missing commands from the Command Bible to achieve feature parity and complete the AI orchestration ecosystem. These commands (EXECUTE, ANALYZE, LEARN, GENERATE, ANALYTICS) represent core capabilities that users expect from a comprehensive AI development platform. ## Decision We will implement the missing Command Bible commands using a hierarchical agent architecture with specialized swarm coordination, following the established patterns from existing commands while introducing new capabilities for execution safety, machine learning integration, and analytics. ## Architecture Principles ### 1. Consistency with Existing Patterns - Follow the established Commander.js command structure - Use the same TypeScript/Node.js technology stack - Maintain compatibility with existing swarm orchestration - Preserve the agent-based coordination model ### 2. Security-First Design - Implement containerized execution environments - Add comprehensive input validation - Create resource usage limits and monitoring - Establish audit trails for all operations ### 3. Performance Optimization - Design for parallel execution where possible - Implement intelligent caching strategies - Optimize Gemini API usage with rate limiting - Create efficient memory management patterns ### 4. Extensibility and Modularity - Design modular components for easy extension - Create plugin architectures for framework support - Allow customizable templates and patterns - Support multiple output formats and integrations ## Implementation Details ### Command Architecture Pattern ```typescript // Base pattern followed by all commands export abstract class BaseGeminiCommand extends Command { protected logger: Logger; protected swarmCoordinator: SwarmCoordinator; protected securityManager: SecurityManager; protected memoryManager: MemoryManager; constructor(name: string) { super(name); this.setupCommonInfrastructure(); } protected async setupCommonInfrastructure() { // Common setup for all commands this.logger = new Logger(this.name()); this.swarmCoordinator = SwarmCoordinator.getInstance(); this.securityManager = new SecurityManager(); this.memoryManager = new MemoryManager(); } protected abstract validateInput(input: any): Promise<ValidationResult>; protected abstract executeCommand(input: any, options: any): Promise<CommandResult>; protected abstract handleError(error: Error, context: ExecutionContext): Promise<void>; } ``` ### Security Architecture ```typescript interface SecurityBoundaries { // Execution isolation executionSandbox: { containerized: boolean; resourceLimits: ResourceLimits; networkIsolation: boolean; fileSystemRestrictions: string[]; }; // Input validation inputValidation: { typeChecking: boolean; rangeValidation: boolean; injectionPrevention: boolean; pathTraversalPrevention: boolean; }; // Access control accessControl: { roleBasedAccess: boolean; commandPermissions: Map<string, Permission[]>; auditLogging: boolean; }; } ``` ### Integration Architecture ```typescript interface GeminiIntegrationLayer { // API management rateLimit: { requestsPerMinute: number; burstCapacity: number; backoffStrategy: 'exponential' | 'linear'; }; // Caching strategy cache: { layers: ['memory', 'disk', 'distributed']; ttl: Record<string, number>; invalidationStrategy: 'time-based' | 'event-based'; }; // Error handling errorRecovery: { retryAttempts: number; fallbackStrategies: string[]; circuitBreaker: boolean; }; } ``` ## Command-Specific Decisions ### EXECUTE Command - **Execution Environment**: Docker containers with resource limits - **Framework Detection**: Static analysis + package.json parsing - **Test Integration**: Plugin architecture for multiple test frameworks - **Safety Measures**: Code sandboxing with network isolation ### ANALYZE Command - **Git Analysis**: LibGit2 integration for performance - **Tech Debt**: SonarQube-compatible metrics - **Performance**: Sampling-based profiling to avoid overhead - **Breaking Changes**: Semantic versioning analysis with AI assistance ### LEARN Command - **Pattern Recognition**: Transformer models for code understanding - **Style Extraction**: AST analysis with statistical modeling - **Context Storage**: Vector embeddings for similarity search - **Model Training**: Fine-tuning on project-specific patterns ### GENERATE Command - **Style Awareness**: Template-based generation with learned patterns - **Framework Integration**: Plugin system for React, Vue, Angular, etc. - **Quality Assurance**: Generated code validation and testing - **Customization**: User-configurable templates and patterns ### ANALYTICS Commands - **Real-time Metrics**: Event-driven data collection - **Benchmarking**: Standardized performance test suites - **Cost Tracking**: API usage monitoring with billing integration - **Reporting**: Multiple output formats (HTML, PDF, JSON, CSV) ## Technology Stack Decisions ### Core Technologies - **Runtime**: Node.js 18+ (existing requirement) - **Language**: TypeScript (consistency with existing codebase) - **CLI Framework**: Commander.js (existing pattern) - **Database**: SQLite with better-sqlite3 (existing pattern) ### New Dependencies ```json { "new-dependencies": { "dockerode": "^3.3.0", // Docker container management "isomorphic-git": "^1.24.0", // Git operations "@tensorflow/tfjs-node": "^4.0.0", // ML model training "ast-types": "^0.14.0", // AST manipulation "sonarjs": "^0.20.0", // Code quality analysis "pdf-lib": "^1.17.0", // Report generation "chart.js": "^4.0.0" // Data visualization } } ``` ### Architecture Components ```typescript // Component dependencies and relationships interface ArchitectureComponents { commands: { execute: ExecuteCommand;
