# Privacy Policy – AsterMind Synth Last updated: 2025-11-16 This Privacy Policy explains how AsterMind AI Corporation (“we”, “our”, “us”) handles information in relation to AsterMind Synth (“Software”). Scope - This policy applies to local use of the Software. If you access hosted services or a customer portal, additional terms may apply. Data Processing - The Software runs locally and processes the data you provide. We do not collect or transmit your data by default. - Artifacts (e.g., models, logs, training_data.json) may be created on your system during operation. You control and are responsible for these artifacts. Personal Data - Do not use the Software with personal data unless you have a lawful basis. You are responsible for compliance with applicable privacy laws and consents. Telemetry - The Software does not include telemetry by default. If you enable optional features that send diagnostics, we will document and obtain consent separately. Security - We recommend storing artifacts in secure locations, using OS-level encryption, and restricting access. See SECURITY_OVERVIEW.md. Data Retention and Deletion - You control retention. Delete artifacts and logs from your systems when no longer needed. Changes - We may update this policy. Material changes will be indicated by updating the “Last updated” date.
