# Importing 30-seconds-of-code snippets to VSCode 1. Open Visual Studio Code. 2. Use <kbd>Ctrl</kbd> + <kbd>Shift</kbd> + <kbd>P</kbd> or <kbd>command</kbd> + <kbd>Shift</kbd> + <kbd>P</kbd> to open the Command Palette. 3. Search for `Preferences: Configure User Snippets` and then `New Global Snippets file...`. 4. Select a name and save in the default snippets directory. 5. Copy and paste the content of `snippets.json` from the `vscode_snippets` folder to the file you previously created.
